I think sometimes that the reason we get older and can't remember things as well is because if we could remamber everything then we would be goin INSANE!!! sometimes while we're younger, we try to forget. forget about the fight we had w/ our best friend. forget about the embarrassment of falling on the floor in front of our 'first true love'. forget about the fact that our last 'first true love' moved to Oklahoma and forgot about us, but when we're older i hav begun to think that instead, we will want to remember. want to remember the fights we had w/ our best friends cause the fights helped us establish a better friendship and remember our first few loves and the funny stuff that happened w/ them because as we get older, we wont care. we'll look back on these things w/ a smile on our face and a song in our hearts and we'll laugh at how stupid we used to be to even care about such little things instead of enjoy our lives. our best friends will be there and more drastic fights will come along, but only the funny and stupid ones will be remembered. Many loves will come and go, but when the real true one comes... you'll know it and at that moment, none of the others will matter. and as the years go by, people will forget and move on with thier lives, but i for one would definately laugh if i remembered cause everything that seems so drastic now will seem so stupid and worthless later.
